About the city: Giengen (full name: Giengen an der Brenz) is a historic city in Baden Württemberg in southern Germany.
It is situated in the district of Heidenheim, north–east of Ulm, at the southern foot of the Swabian Alb. Formerly a Free Imperial City, Giengen today is a lively community and home to several widely known companies,
such as Margarete Steiff GmbH, inventor of the teddy bear, and Albert Ziegler GmbH, a European leader in fire department equipment.
